Mark Frank, President and Co-founder of PureWorks
Mark Franks is the President and co-founder of PureWorks. For the past 20 years, Mark has been a leading entrepreneur in the Salt Lake City, Utah area where he has built, managed and sold multiple companies spanning multiple industries. In addition to being the President and co-founder, Mark is the chief evangelist and visionary for the PureWorks story, products, and business. As such, he travels extensively throughout the world working with distributors and business partners to help develop new business opportunities. Prior to founding PureWorks, Mark built and operated a highly successful medical supply company that provided medical supplies to hundreds of doctors and dentists across the US. It is through his work in the medical and dental industries that Mark realized the need and potential for disease fighting skin products that actually made one's skin feel better and thus co-founded PureWorks with Dr. Edward Walker and Mr. Gregori Pesci. After successfully developing and testing the PureWorks products in the medical and dental industries, Mark and team decided it was time to take them to the average consumer and decided that direct selling was the best way to tell the very compelling PureWorks story. It was at this time that PureWorks was established. Prior to his work in the medical supply industry, Mark built, managed and sold a very successful IT and business consulting firm. Mark has a BS degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in finance, from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Dr.Walker, Inventor
Dr. Walker has published numerous scientific articles ranging from the identification of new sensory transduction components in living cells to methods of analysis for natural products. He has worked with a wide variety of technology-based corporations, helping them improve products and processes, as well as helping them develop their business structures. He is an accomplished inventor, as evidenced by the issuance of dozens of world-wide patents for his inventions. He participates in many scientific international meetings, and has been an invited speaker on many occasions. He is also an experienced business leader, having founded and participated in a number of different corporations.
Greg Pesci, CEO and Co-Founder of PureWorks
Greg Pesci is currently CEO and a Co-Founder of PureWorks. Greg has many responsibilities as CEO, but is primarily focused on operations, market expansion, and policies, procedures, and compliance.Greg's career has included more than 16 years of broad experience in both the public and private sectors in large and small entities, including Fortune 500 companies, consusmer product companies, financial institutions, governmental agencies and law firms.
He has strong process and consumer products industry experience and is proficient in change management, organizational effectiveness and leadership development. His career has included Operations Line Management for product production at Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio where he also served as Patent Division Counsel for Procter and Gamble.
An attorney admitted to practice in both Utah and Ohio, Greg's legal experience includes more than eight years in consumer finance and financial institutions law. He has served as an associate in a Salt Lake City law firm and as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Associate General Counsel for a Utah industrial bank. His responsibilities included ensuring compliance with federal banking laws governing consumer lending, privacy and information security, and launching a new product line.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master Degree in Organizational Behavior, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Brigham Young University. He has taught numerous classes on systems change, organizational development, and leadership. He has served as a visiting faculty member at Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management where he taught classes in Organizational Behavior.
